Every great herd starts with a vision — and ours begins right here. We’re laying the groundwork for an Angus program that carries the same heart and purpose as our Highland herd: quality, temperament, and intention in every decision we make.

This fall marks an exciting step in that journey as we welcomed our first five registered Angus females to Wright Land & Cattle Co. All are bred to calve between December and April, and those upcoming calves will mark the first chapter of our Angus story. From here, we’ll continue growing through the fall and spring sale seasons, thoughtfully adding animals that align with our long-term goals for sound structure, gentle dispositions, and proven genetics.

Our focus is on building something lasting — not fast. We’re investing in foundation females that represent the type of Angus cattle we believe in: the kind that raise strong calves, thrive on pasture, and contribute to the future of both our seedstock and beef programs.

While we aren’t offering Angus animals for sale just yet, this season is all about setting the stage.
